This is such a nice state park! Heavily wooded with some gentle easy trails, the short bog walk (fully accessible), a small beach, and amphitheater with live music in the summer. We stayed at site 89 which was in the shade and away from some of the noisier parts of the campground.

Great campground. Beautiful vegetation & wildlife, in mid July! Had a big storm come through, & didn't hear sirens, over the noise of an air conditioner. Ooof. Everything seemed good in the morning. Nice showers/ bathrooms. Lots to see and do. Boardwalk bog walk. Bring your deet! There is very low-clearance, under a bridge @ the boat launch. We had to stop to take the canopy down.

We love Lake Bemidji State Park! You can fish, swim, hike, camp, ride your bikes, all kinds of fun!! It's such a great spot to come for the day or come for the weekend!

Good hikes through very diverse ecosystems. Was very interesting watching the trees change from old growth Pine to Black Pine/ Tamarack bogs.

Yes, camping is open. Make reservations online: https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/park.html?id=spk00205#homepage I don't think there are ever any rentals available at Bemidji State Park. The website will be more helpful. We just got home today from an awesome week long stay. Electric but no water and sewer hook-up - there is a dump station at the entrance as well as water pumps throughout the campground. Bathrooms and showers are open and very nice. Plus, there is OK WiFi (PaulBunyan) in the campground.
Snow has all gone, it's warming up beautiful! Enjoy
To bike on the trail is free. You can access the trail from other spots outside of the park. If you want to park in the park, then you need a day or year pass for your vehicle.
I would locate a place close to the office cuz that's where the Wi-Fi's going to be located
Web site says all electric are 30 amp Www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks Should get you started
I just read in a book that it's with a naturalist. This is a book circa 1997 so it may be a thing of the past sadly but sounds cool .especially for those of us without boats
