I was driving west on Interstate 90 and decided to take a break at the Green Giant Park in Blue Earth, Minnesota. This is a great place to stop and just stretch your legs while traveling on I-90. The huge statue of the Jolly Green Giant stands in a very nice park with a playground from kids and picnic tables where you can enjoy a nice picnic. The statue is a popular photo site for visitor as during my visit there were several other tourists stopping to snap photos of the Giant and Sprout. I was a quick photo stop and a nice way to break up a long trip on I-90.

Pretty park, And how fun to see the Green Giant, They have a nice little trail and a few fun things for the kids. There is also a Museum, I didn't go into the museum so I can't give a review on that. But fun to stop and snap a picture of the Green Giant

A very cool statue of the green giant! Me and my friends saw it on our way to a District Council, where missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints get together and find best ways to help people draw closer to Jesus Christ! This is a fun little tourist attraction to go to and great for kids!

Yes. They are in his waistband. Climb up the left leg to access them. Free corn, baby!
The Giant Welcome Center and Museum, across the parking lot, has bathrooms and water fountains. It is now open.
The Giant has stood in Blue Earth since 1979 because of radio station owner Paul Hedberg. He hosted a show in Blue Earth entitled "Welcome Travelers," where he would interview people as they passed through town. He gave them Green Giant vegetables (canned in a local factory) at the end of each show, and the guests would sometimes ask, "Where's the Green Giant?" When Hedberg learned that Interstate 90 would bypass Blue Earth, cutting off his supply of guests, he figured that a life-size Giant by the freeway might be enough to lure travelers into town. https://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/2127
