Neat little camp ground. Has pull thrus and back in sites. They are gravel but level. Full hook ups very reasonable on price. Clean bathroom s and showers. They don't take reservations, first come first served. We have stayed here several times. Great view of the lake.
A Year to Volunteer
We are really impressed! A small 21-site campground in IMMACULATE condition on a lake. What's not to love?! Full hookups in new condition (as of July 2022) . This is a no reservation campground for $25, so perfect for full-timers like us who don't fight the weekend crowds if we can help it. The sites are level and with 6 pull-through sites that are approximately 75' long, thus perfect for big rigs towing trailers like us. Definitely put Emmetsburg and Five Island Lake Campground on the map as you travel through Iowa. Such a pleasant surprise.

I was only visiting someone who was staying there so I don't know how much the camper or tent sites are per night. I'm afraid I don't know if they rent kayaks or other water craft either but maybe the site can give information about how to contact the camp host to get more details. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful!
