I wouldn't even give this place or its desk help a 1 star. We had a paid for reservation and after driving hours and exhausted were told there were no more rooms and basic too bad. Absolutely unprofessional and disgusting. However after reading these reviews I'm glad we were refused and better get our money back!!!!

I know why folks are so negative and write so many negative reviews. I find this place to be just fine. A little older, but all in all I will be here three days, and this is my first night. It is very quiet, and peaceful. The Room That iam in in spacious has a nice Flat Screen TV with really decent Channel Menu, and the Internet reception is above average. The beds and pillows and bedding are really clean comfortable and beyond decent. Water pressure, is very good with very hot water for the Bathtub . Overall housekeeping is way beyond average. Not a bad place at all. What more can you ask for. Clean, comfortable, and very affordable. The Manager here named Jessica is very nice, hospitable, and goes above and beyond to treat people decent. Good gal!! My over all opinion is good, and I would highly recommend this older quiet motel with deadbolt locks and refrigerator and Microwave, with two chairs and a table as well. Highly recommended for all Travelers going east or west on Interstate 90 that want a quiet rest that is beyond affordable . Please disregard any past negative reviews as I just don't see any problems here. Thumbs up to The Budget Inn here in Fairmont Minnesota. Check in is quick and the Manager here is constantly trying to improve and upgrade the place, and is there to ensure Guests have a good stay.🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷👍👍👍👍

Positive: The young woman on the front desk on Saturday night was outstanding. She went out of her way to help us get settled and to find us coffee for the morning for the in-room coffee maker. Bed was comfortable, crisp linens, nice blanket; Price was very good. Negative: We were told that it had recently changed hands. The room arrangement was a bit awkward. But, it was obvious that efforts are underway to update it.

0 Stars but I have to put a star to write a review. Disgusting and I do not understand why the health department allows this hotel to remain. I do not want to take the time to write everything because NOTHING was clean, so I’ll share one thing: the toilet had fece stains as if just used and the entire toilet was dirty with hair, squished bugs around base, and such, like a well used public restroom. It was late and we needed to sleep so we brought in our bedding from the car then washed at a laundromat the next day. Mattresses were gross and doubtful bedding was washed. My husband shared the motel story with everyone he spoke to because he couldn’t believe it and normally he doesn’t care if something is substandard. Do not support this motel and I regret that I let my family stay here. It will be our motel hell story for years to come.
