The room was tiny only had a small desk and one chair for two people. No fridge or microwave. The shower was a stall only no tub. The service was great so I cannot complain about the staff. The breakfast was underwhelming. The bed was uncomfortable barely slept. Not worth the price we paid.

As a pet owner, I really appreciated the experience of the Hampton Inn in Fairmont. They were upfront about pet fees and provided a personalized welcome gift for my dog from a local dog-lover student. We were able to stay on the first floor, which felt safe and had lots of room to play in the back grassy area of the hotel. It was a good experience as a dog owner and would definitely stay there again.

Staff was very friendly. This is always one of the most important features of a business. I am not interested in a good product if the service is bad. This hotel has a fairly large fitness center but no pool; not bad for being so deep into the country! I would have given five stars for the following: The bathroom sink in our first room wouldn't drain. The line was clogged. I contacted the office and offered to fix it but they didn't offer any points or compensation in return. They said I could fix it if I wanted to do I cleaned the p-trap but the tail piece that goes inside the tee inside the wall was clogged also and I didn't have any channel locks to unscrew the nut that keeps the tail piece in place. They did give me another room. The breakfast was good. They had non GMO yogurt and maple sugar to sprinkle over oatmeal. I desired some decaf and the representative, without hesitation, began to make me some decaf coffee immediately with joy. This was a good hotel: clean rooms and quiet.

Great hotel. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. The complimentary hot breakfast every morning was excellent. The items varied every morning. The biscuits and gravy on one of the mornings was a nice surprise. There was also a wide selection of other items, including pastries, bread, yogurt, cold cereal, and Belgian waffles. I also really liked the dark roast coffee. The complimentary Wi-Fi worked well in the rooms. The family really enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The best part was the friendly staff (especially Brooke). I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
