Thirty days ago, I walked someone who means the world to me through the doors at Sunrise Recovery Ranch. I didn’t know what to expect, but I was desperate to find help. Waiting on the other side was a nurse who immediately calmed my fears. Lillia humbled herself and shared her story. Her approach with my friend was EXACTLY what he needed to calm his own fears. She was firm, but gentle. She was kind and 100% real. The empathy shown by all that I spoke to over the course of his stay is something that cannot be under-valued. Having actually walked in someone’s shoes gives you an invaluable perspective. Keeping in mind that recovery isn’t a magic bullet, you have to work for it, I recommend Sunrise Recovery Ranch without reservation! This place literally changed my life. I truly cannot express my gratitude for the program they have created here

My loved one was also at Sunrise. Horrible experience. They also took all his personal belongings. His cologne and his electric manscape razor. They didn’t give him his meds to help him sleep. I called but no one answered the phones. Had to go back through admissions. They wouldn’t let him leave. I finally picked him up after 2 weeks and they basically kicked him out with nothing. The pharmacy ended up billing me for over a thousand dollars for meds he never received. I could go on and on but y’all get the idea

This place has horrible service. Sent my mom in to get some help and not only did she complain about the staff but I get a call saying their taking her to a hotel because she no longer wants to be there. Well duhhh she’s an addict and is have withdrawals why would you release her ? They then proceed to let her go and when we go to the hotel she was suppose to be at she is not there and took off and was then missing for 5 days ! Do not send your loved ones here.!!

My 38 days at Sunrise Ranch were some of the best days/nights I ever invested in myself. Facts areas if today I am 71 days clean and sober and next week I go back to work. The staff under the direction of Todd Wall and Brittany Ramos are top notch. My therapist Nicole went above and beyond many times on my behalf. Mike Ortega and his staff are all to be commended on the hard work that they do. I give a special shout out to my angel Karl who runs the Cairo house as he too went above and beyond on my behalf. Food service provided Edwin and Steve served up delicious and nutritious food. Lastly the nursing staff under the direction of Linda do an excellent job especially with the number of patients they have to deal with, and let me tell you they too are GOD'S angels because they have to deal with so many personalities.Addicted people are sometimes not nice... Overall the day is full, with process groups, meetings and outside activities. I am grateful to each and everyone who works there. Thank you, Sunrise Ranch!!! Scott P.
