Great espresso flavor. I think its the best espresso in Detroit Lakes - especially when you get a well trained barista in the morning. They offer cortados and the trained baristas serve them at the right temperature and the right amount of milk. Definitely a great treat when most other coffee shops serve burned and bitter espresso with over heated milk.

My husband and I had lunch there today. Was our first time there. & we we're not impressed. We will not be back. They were not busy 4 tables only. When my husband food came up they told me what I had ordered was completely out and asked me to order something else. But I had to ask for a menu first. The food was good once we got it, but it took forever. But what my husband observed, I almost lost my lunch. The 2 servers both male, ran there fingers thru there hair, put there hands up there shirts to scratch there back and down there shorts to pull there underware up. Never Washed there Hands and touched people's food and served beverage's with there hands on the glass rim. I'm Sorry but that's Uncalled for !

We walked in and sat down, the place was not very busy. The server served everybody around us and two other couples that came in after us, never stopping to offer a menu for us. After 5 minutes or so we asked for a menu. He tossed them on the table and walked away and didn't ask what we wanted to drink. After another 5 minutes or so with the server walking past us back and forth and still not even asking what we wanted to drink, we got up and left. When we did, I saw him look at us and roll his eyes. We watched him help everybody around us the entire time we were there, but not once stopped for us. Hopefully this isn't normal behavior for the restaurant. I was disappointed.

My wife wanted me taste the spinach dip with bread she had when visiting with my daughter. We also ordered the beer cheese dip. They were both fantastic! Once we ran out of bread, they gladly brought us more. Though we live in town, it was the first time I had been there. It was a really nice environment and I loved the decor. The staff was very polite and we were there during a slower time. We enjoyed these appetizers half price due to the time we were there. We definitely intend to return try the other dips too!
