This place is a hidden gem! I was in town working and asked tons of people for tips on local attractions and not one mentioned this place. We hit it 2 days in a row and left happily exhausted. They didn’t allow dogs though so our puppy missed out.

Super place, mostly flat in the areas we encountered. Quarries are very dramatic & all the old equipment on the grounds are pretty fascinating. Definitely want to go back in the spring and summer! Beautiful park, accessible, just be prepared for the $5 parking fee.

It does state on website if dog is aggressive in any way to muzzle the animal

Yeah, was just there earlier today. They have 50% parking capacity though, so unless you call, you could be asked to wait until a spot comes up.
There is a beach/sand area, but where to sand and the water touch should be fine!😁

It's encouraged! However, I believe they are closed for the time being
I don't think there's life guards. Its watch your own kids. I'm sure you can get hurt if you're not careful.
Call and reserve just in case. There's no telling if someone else will have the same idea at the same time.
