Such an awesome throwback place. Old school dishes and cocktails in a classic setting. They don’t just bank on the nostalgia of the place. Price points are very reasonable as well for the quality of the food/drink. The food is legitimately great and the staff seems like a family that really cares about their restaurant. Our waiter Scott was a great host and super helpful. And the bartenders make great drinks( try the aviator or the grilled pineapple margarita, Mike’s creation). If you are ever in area- whether driving through on Route 66 or just visiting- you definitely have to check it out. 5/5 would recommend.

The food is still very good, but they need to improve their operation. It's seems that they are focused on the older local market and not reaching for a younger demographic group. One major change should be removing karaoke and adding live music, contemporary or jazz. I would like to see this restaurant thrive before it becomes to late.

Amazing mid-century steakhouse off historic Route 66. An amazing, old school interior with lush booths and a fireplace surrounded by a round lounge booth. Was sad to see it only a third full on a Saturday night. I hope this place can last. It’s a great time capsule. Opened in 1955, the same year as Disneyland.

We called this establishment around noon the day we wanted to dine in. We were looking for a place to go for an early dinner. When we called we were informed to come on in around 4:30 p.m. and we would have no problem getting a table. We arrived right on time and were promptly seated in very nice leather high back chairs in a cozy corner of the restaurant near the fireplace. That is about all I can say about our visit. After our first cocktail the manager/owner came to us and told us we had to order right away because she could only let us have the table for another 20 or 30 minutes. While I have died in restaurants with the time limit on the table we should have been told when we called to make the reservation or at least when we had arrived. We could tell that our server was very stressed and very rushed and I believe that she worked very very hard to accommodate the customers because she was being pressured by her boss. What horrible working conditions for the staff. The Magic Lamp Inn used to be one of the finest restaurants in the Inland empire, we will never return. The only photo I can post is that of my cocktail as we were basically kicked out of the restaurant for lingering.

Prices are good they do a good job and they can accommodate large parties. I typically eat there once a week 👍
We had dinner inside the first weekend they were open, about 3 weeks ago. The owner came up to our table with no mask like it was a normal day in time. They also sat us right next to a party of 6 and the bar was literally packed, not one empty seat as we walked by to go to the restroom and as we walked out after dinner. This was our go to spot sometimes 3 times a week, we really wanted to continue supporting them but not at the expense the health of the public; how inconsiderate. I will say though, the service, food and cocktails were impeccable; I just can't believe they would be so irresponsible.
Yes but not taking all the safety precautions they should be practicing. The bar was packed and the host came up to our table not wearing a mask.
The closest is the Western but there are more options near the airport.
Yes they do
There was a band when we were there and they played classic pop music.
Very fair pricing for all the ambiance you'll enjoy. I suggest you try, one of their Happy Hour's, for drinks and bar appetizers which are reasonable prices. Enjoy!
The Philharmonics, they play 70s, 80s and 90s music
For dinner i think its 5:00pm
Not true
It was built by the clearmans, same that built The North Woods Inn, Covina, CA
