Couple of kids were at the front desk, they were more concerned about talking to each other than helping us. Gentleman at the gun area was great! Update: Changing to 4 stars after owner replied.

Me, my two brothers and our Dad always take a week to fish together. This year we are thinking about the chain of lakes around Chetek. When do the crappie typically spawn in these lakes?

Typically, the first two weeks in May are great fishing. With the late ice out, we are about 2 weeks behind and they are just getting started.
