Orientation is good. Very informational, but misrepresented. They make you go thru a long process only to tell you you don't qualify for a certain program. They need to give more training or update their reps. The one I was assigned, didn't even know how to navigate the internet. She was useless to my case and could not even point in the right direction.

They are slow and they can't be honest up front by telling you you don't qualify. They wasted 6 weeks of my time by asking me to get this and that one week at a time. They milk the clock alot, there goes good tax payers money.

My husband, my son and myself were all laid off from work at different times last year, and we were sent here by EDD and I can honestly say that ALL the employees that we came into to contact with were very kind and helpful in providing us with all the resources available to us.

Most employers don't use the term "felon friendly". They just want to hire the right person for the job. Employers will do a background but wont eliminate an applicant for past mistakes.

I believe that in order to get any type of voucher you'll need to be enrolled in one of programs they offer.
Children are welcome to come, but they are not allowed inside the resource/computer room or in the back offoce.They can wait in the lobby with an adult.
