Terrible... tried to have my payment modified due to loss of income and both my children are over the age of 18... missed a payment so they raised my monthly payment by $60 THEN told me before the reinstate my license I needed to come up with $1600... really? Even after I just told them I lost my job for THEM suspending my license...smmfh... should be negative 5 stars...

Child support follows him everywhere he goes like a curse...he just needs to make sure when he's in LA that he needs to get a job ASAP or any type of income so they can collect out of his checks...if not, then he'll get backed up on payments and they won't stop charging him child support and he'll be swimming in a big hefty I.O.U. of late payments.

I'm not sure what this question is asking. If your asking of there is a difference between a man offering support as opposed to being mandated to pay, then of course. If you go outside the legal system you can work out the details to suit the parties involved....if you go through it legally then there are algorithms the courts use to attempt to compensate for the child's best interest.

It can take 6 months to establish a child support judgment and begin receiving monthly payments if the other parent is working and has wages that can be garnished.
