Nice park. Went for the fireworks. There was live music before. Gets pretty crowded early. There are a lot of large trees so seeing the fireworks was a challenge. If you get there before 7pm you will have a great spot. Was very easy to get out at the end of the night. Stillwater puts on a good show.

Just a great family park. Its scenic view of downtown Stillwater is historic, and spot lights the Antique buildings mixed with the modern ones that give Stillwater its rustic and homey feel.

Great park with a great view. Lots of benches, and a small amphitheater. One of the best parks in Stillwater by far.

We got Nelson's ice cream down the street and searched a place to sit down and eat our ice cream. Pioneer Park is clean and has such a beautiful view. The playground is awesome too-a place to come back to once the littles can safely play again.

Questions & Answers

Would this be a good place to watch the sunrise? Are there any great sunrise spots around Stillwater?

The new bridge is a good spot. The trees at pioneer kind of hinder the sunrise. Best spot I've seen is if you go past the no trespassing fence and up the hill to the lookout at the boom site rest stop. Not the overlook. Although that is not for the faint of heart.

If we wanted to have a birthday party at pioneer park is there a list or a sign up sheet or is it first come first serve basis?

I believe if you call the parks dept, you can reserve the shelter. The rest of the park is first come first serve.
