I first visited Fawn-Doe-Rosa when I was a little girl and I love it just as much now as I did when I was a kid. We go once a year and it never gets old to get up close and personal with the deer and other animals. It is so magical as a parent to see your kids' faces light up when we go to this special place.

Great place to visit. We had three adults in our group and we spent almost four hours. I suggest the bucket of food as refills are more reasonable. Lots of animals to feed and even pet. Staff was awesome. Arriving right when they open is the best. Animals were hungry and active. As the heat came up they settled in. Bring a picnic lunch as their picnic area is lovely and you can watch the deer. The park itself was gorgeous just to walk around. Mix of shade and sun. The gift shop was very nice. Lots of cool stuff and chocolate counter that is a little hidden. The truffles were amazing as well as turtles. All reasonably priced.

Forget about taking your kids to Wilderness Walk in Hayward. This place has it beat. Very clean and beautiful. Staff is very informative and interactive. Reasonable pricing. I took my 3yr old and 12yr old. Didn’t have to try to get the 12yr old to smile! Deer free roam the park. A lot of different animals to learn about.

Family friendly environment. No food or drinks allowed inside so, I suggest you plan a picnic under the awning by the park.or visit on a full tummy 😄.
