Enjoyed our rainy Saturday afternoon at this lovely place! The wine was outstanding! We had been to another winery earlier in the day but enjoyed the wines here so much more. We left with 4 bottles to take home. Completely worth a drive! The place is beautiful and so unique! There was live music, wonderful staff, award winning wines, and we even got some fun advice on pairings including what cigar to enjoy with the wine we bought! Loved the friendly staff who were working their tails off on a busy afternoon. What a fabulous place!

What a wonderful place! Staff was helpful and wine was top notch. Enjoyed the wine here much more than the other places in the area. Check out the dry reds! Came home with a variety of bottles and will be back for sure!

The Chateau is lovely! The atmosphere is beautiful, the staff are so so kind and sweet, the wine is delicious and priced well, the pastrami sandwich was delicious and surprisingly big and the live music and local vendors were really fun. Highly recommend.

If you’re looking for a winning wine tasting near Minneapolis, I’d recommend the day trip to Chateau St. Croix winery. We had the pleasure of tasting nearly all their offerings and also enjoyed the cheese plate. (The cheese plate had 5 cheeses and was definitely enough for two). For the price it was fantastic, and some of their reds and their ports were very much worthwhile as we ended up purchasing some to enjoy later. Plan to stay a few hours for the tasting. I hear it’s much busier in the summer, but we really enjoyed the more intimate setting the off season provided as well as the one on one conversation with the tasting experts.
