We ate outside and although we were near the speakers, the music was not overwhelming - a very pleasant surprise. I had the tenderloin bowl and my husband had the Reuben, which they were happy to put on a non-rye bread for him. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We don't usually drink at noon, but my husband had an Utepils and I had a hazy cider, both on tap. It was a marvelous way to unwind after a rather stressful morning. Definitely a keeper!

Service was great! Food was mediocre at best, tater tot hot dish is the best thing they serve. 6pm on a Sunday evening and we had no less than 3 overserved, overly friendly patrons try to socialize with our sober group...

I had a great dinner here, good customer relations, the food might take time before it's served but it worth waiting for. If you're an ice cream lover, you might want to try their Jacks Truffle, I think it is fanastic. Check out their menu with the QRcode posted.

We just bought a house about a 5-minute walk from here and I can’t imagine bothering to take that walk unless I was meeting people who already happened to be going there. The service was insanely slow, though the other tables our server had seemed to be taken care of pretty quickly. My brisket sandwich had clearly been under the heat lamp for far too long. I could tell that when they set the plate down, so I can’t imagine why the plate would have left the kitchen. The cup of mayonnaise on the plate, which I thankfully hadn’t asked for or wanted, was crusty and oily, the fries were about room temperature, the once possibly crispy onions on the sandwich were cold and mushy, and about a quarter of the brisket was hard. Not chewy. Actually hard. Both of the burgers ordered by our group tasted great on one half and the other half tasted like acrid, dirty grill. The beer was served in 12-oz plastic cups, and we ordered during happy hour so $6 seems like a bit much for that. My boyfriend’s dad ordered a tenderloin bowl that he said was good, so at least there’s that. All in all - I’d take the short drive to someplace like the Unofficial before strolling over to Cowboy Jacks, but at least now we know.
