We had a group of 5 for a team building event and had the best time (I didn't really want to go). Coach Al was awesome and helped to make this such a fun time. I would totally recommend anyone looking for a great time to try Bad Axe Throwing!

Great time! Our coach Rogue was AWESOME!!! Kept us upbeat and engaged! They know their stuff! Price was perfect for our 90 min session with 5 people. Highly recommend the big axe and knives! Worth the upgrade! Will definitely be back!

I went here with a friend and it was my first time axe throwing. Also it was a surprise so I didn't know anything about the place or activity ahead of time. The place had a cool chill vibe. They also had pizza and beer for purchase and would let you order or bring your own food. That was really appealing to me. We had our own "lane" area and the ones next to us were empty but there were 1 or 2 other duos there. We had a table and couch that was for our hang out space which could be good if you had a group. Seemed like a really good 2-person activity and setup. Not sure how they manage larger groups, (ie if you get multiple lanes or what) but we were able to throw side by side and so there was little down time. The axe throwing itself was really fun as a totally new experience for me. I realized it does take a bit of arm muscle to throw one-handed so I mostly threw 2-handed which worked for me. It took a few throws to get the feel for it and then I had some great shots and several that didn't stick. Also interesting they had bonus packages where you could do knife throwing. We didn't opt for that. It wasn't super busy when we went at 7pm on a Thursday which I appreciated. We did walk in. The guys working were really laid back, nice and helpful. Could see getting a group together to do as a novel activity or maybe a special date night, but for me it does feel a bit expensive at $27/person for 45min. Good to know: -The website does say this but since I was invited as a surprise and my friend didn't see it on the website you MUST HAVE PROOF OF VACCINATION and you are required to wear a mask (though it can be declined for eating and drinking). I actually appreciate that they are mandating that but definitely something you'd want to make sure you know before arriving as a walk-in. Thankfully we did have our cards. -Minneapolis also had like an add-on city tax which was interesting and unexpected

Will be returning we had little to no wait to start. Staff was super friendly and our coach was supportive. 45 minutes went so fast and was so fun! The entrance is a bit hard to see, see pictures for assistance. Otherwise the price for walk ins is excellent! Stop in if you see this review, worth a try!

I would make a reservation just to better guarantee you will get in at the time you'd like. They give a quick rules rundown and a quick lesson at the beginning of your session. It's super fun! Enjoy and good luck!
Hi Nate, we expect to allow Knife Throwing in our facility in around late March or early April. We will be part of the Knife Throwing League!
Yes, there will be a brief orientation at the beginning of your event where you will be shown the proper way to throw the axe.
Great place for a date. At 4pm you would probably be okay slipping in as a walk in, but having a reservation is never a bad idea.
