We had the very difficult experience of a pet death earlier today, and Access was there for us. The staff allowed us to bring in our near-death elderly cat for a last-minute euthanasia appointment, and, when our pet passed in the car on the way there, they handled the situation with dignity, having the doctor confirm her death, offering us space in a private room to grieve for a moment, and even waiving the euthanasia fee because it was not performed, with only very reasonable cremation charges instead. We have not come here for veterinary care previously, but we will for all our other pets going forward. The combination of skilled and compassionate staff, high-quality facilities, affordable pricing, and flexible hours and scheduling that actually allows pets of working-class humans to receive care makes me want to give this place six stars. We didn't have any bad experiences at our previous veterinary provider, TLC Cat Clinic, but this is the best place in the area for sure.

Had an urgent issue with my pet - and found our regular vet clinic in Eden Prairie couldn’t possibly care any less. Access Vet Care’s’ same day appointments were full - however a vet came out immediately to take a look at our pet and recommended that we go to an emergency clinic based on her expertise. They also offered to put us on a wait list and to help us get in the next day. They made me feel like they cared about me and my pet and went above and beyond to reassure us(so did the U of M emergency vet hospital!) I have found a new place to take our pet for routine appointments!

Access Vet Care was amazing when seeing my dog. When I dropped him off they went over their care plan, I was able to tweak it as I saw fit. All of the staff were ver accomodating and helpful. When the Vet called me to go over my dogs exam, she made everything sound easily understandable. I would 100% reccommend going to this place if your pet needs urget care, or if your normal vet does not have any openings. Great experience!

I called around all week trying to find an appointment for Ewok. They were able to get us in right away. Their prices are on their website and they are so reasonable compared to other vets in the area. The staff here went above and beyond to help Ewok and me and to make us feel comfortable. They were kind, gentle, knowledgeable and sweet. They even helped me to figure out how to pay for Ewok’s expensive surgery. I can’t say enough nice things about AVC! They are wonderful!!!!!

How much will it cost to take all three of my dogs to get rabies shots

Hi! We have to do a physical exam on each animal before administering vaccines. Assuming you are OK if the visit is with our awesome CVTs, the exams would be $15 for the first pet and $10 for each additional. The rabies vaccine itself is $25. Total for the three would be $110. You would have an option to have the doctor do the exams instead and that is $35 for each pet. So $180 total if you went that route.

Do they accept care credit?

How much would it be to have a 8 year old Shih Tzu neutered? I’ve heard you are quite reasonable with pricing.

Sounds like something that we should take a peek at. If he won't quit licking, then at a minimum he's really uncomfortable so we'd be able to prescribe something so that he feels good and help clear up the issue. We are a walk-in clinic, so you can just stop by anytime during our open hours and we'll be happy to help!

Do they insert microchips? Price?
