Greg is a true genius and wizard. I bought a keychain online made from repurposed aluminum aircraft skin and stamped with the aircraft type. It's pretty small but I hoped for a long engraving on the back - which meant small lettering. ( I actually gave Greg an abbreviated version of the text but he wanted to go for the full text. ) The main problem is that aircraft skin is coated on the back with thick green anti-corrosive paint. Several shops told me they just couldn't do aluminum and didn't like the anti-corrosive. Greg had a few concerns about possible problems but was more than willing to take it on. Because of the anti-corrosive, I only hoped for something fairly legible and assumed the lettering might be a little choppy. But it turned out absolutely stunning. The engraving actually polished the aluminum very bright so it looks dazzling against the green anti-corrosive. And the small lettering just couldn't be more crisp and precise. This was a gift for my niece to commemorate her passing a major commercial aviation exam. She is absolutely thrilled by the keychain and can't stop thanking us. To me, if he can get such amazing results on this oddball job, he can probably do just about anything.

Fast, friendly, professional. I had a hard time finding another place that could do custom size plates and that also offered a polished silver-tone plate (everyone else just had brushed aluminum) Greg is easy to work with, makes sure you get what you pay for, and stands behind his work. I have ordered trophy plates from him twice now and both times was very impressed with the quality of the engraving. It doesn't look like cheap laser work. I will definitely continue to do business with him.
