By far the worst experience I have had. I drove all the way from Las Vegas just to be treated in the most disrespectful way possible. I am a natural born citizen of Costa Rica and the woman that works there was absolutely condescending. She claimed to have sent me instructions which she never did. Never answers the phone. I sent her the documents with the info I was taking. She never said I was wrong or needed more paperwork. NOTHING!! Then when I show up to the appointment all she does is belittle me. Very unprofessional.

Questions & Answers

HI - I am a US Citizen travelling to Costa Rica and completing my Health Pass. I am fully vaxed and uploaded my proof of vax card but it is still asking me for travel insurance. I understood that I don't need it if I am fully vaxed. Can you help?

it shouldn't ask you for that, you do not need it. what you do need is the QR code for your vaccination card here in the US, the health pass for costa rica and your passport.

I'm Tico and a legal USA resident ( have a green card) but I don't have a passport how can I get a Costa Rican passport? I being living in the USA 40 years don't have any other ID tham my green card and california driver license please

According to Costa Rican consular services, if you have a Green Card, then you don’t have to apply for a Costa Rica visa to visit this Central American country.  All you need to show the immigration officers at the port of entry is: Your passport Your Green Card A return or onward journey ticket, within the next 30 days You can stay in Costa Rica visa-free for up to 30 days, but for a period longer than that, you will have to apply for an extension of stay at the Office of Migration in Costa Rica.
