If you're on the fence about getting Lasik, PLEASE don't make the mistake I made by putting it off for years. It is absolutely life changing! I had initially been referred to another Lasik center by my optometrist and the wait was over a month JUST for the initial consultation. By sheer luck, I then stumbled across Global Lasik & Cataract Institute and I couldn't be happier. A consultation was booked immediately and I was literally getting the Lasik surgery done a couple days later. No hyperbole, it was the quickest & easiest procedure ever and I now have slightly better than 20/20 vision :) Everyone on the staff (surgeons, doctors, front desk) is ridiculously nice and made every step feel super relaxed. It felt a little impulsive of me to immediately book the surgery, but the staff really made it feel like the right decision (Thank you, guys!). TL;DR Just dooooo it.

AMAZING!! I have been wearing contacts and glasses 2/3 of my life, unable to do anything without corrective lenses in/on. I never qualified for lasik before because my corneas were too thin for how bad my prescription was. Thankfully, because of scientific advancements and because Global Lasik has the newest state of the art technology/machines, I finally qualified! I was scheduled in within 5 days of my consultation and had a great experience start to finish! It is a scary thing to think about (you only have one set of eyes!), but the whole staff, from front desk, nurses, accounting, doctors, all made me feel so comfortable - they explained and talked me through everything. I could see the next day! The healing process was just as described, follow-ups were easy, and now 3 months later I dont even need the extra eye drops anymore! I feel like a new woman - and never have to wear contacts or glasses again! So grateful to Global Lasik for my wonderful, life changing experience! Thank you!!!

As others have mentioned the staff here knows what they are doing and move you quickly thru the evaluation, explain the options, go over financing, and ensure all questions are answered. I had to reschedule once and it was no problem. The procedure itself was fairly quick, well-explained, and as painless as you could hope for. The little bit of discomfort lasts for two 30 second bursts, but is manageable. I woke up seeing really well and know it is going to get better over the next weeks. I would recommend to anyone thinking about LASIK.
