Excellent, clean, safe park! I highly recommend. I didn’t see basketball courts

Great neighborhood park. Bigger than it looks. Often hosts community events. Public pool, man-made lake and stream, athletic fields, shuffle board, horseshoe pit, picnic area, and playgrounds.

Huge place. Fun climbing structures. Pond with several species of ducks/water birds.

It's a big park with plenty of space, but it's VERY overrun with geese. They aren't usually aggressive but there is a lot of geese poop, so be warned. That being said the little kid playground is nice (the bigger one is kind of old) and it has a lot of shady trees for picnics or parties.

I don't know I was visiting from San Fernando Valley
Yes.
Yes
Not sure the actual distance but a nice place to walk with the dogs. Lots of geese
Let's take this same enthusiasm for restoring nature and apply it to how we handle one another as well. I was not aware of the of the pH balance of the pond. And dead catfish might be indicative of a larger problem than feeding the ducks bread....
not there but they offer you the information of where you can register your child, the swimming lessons are given on the Royal ave. On one side of the duck park, you can call to ask if the registration is open!
If someone has it reserved then you cannot use it or else it is free on First come basis. To reserve it costs money though. It is generally not occupied on weekdays but as summer gets closer it will be hard to find free spot for large gatherings in weekends.
I fished there 4 months ago and it was fine I wasn't the only one fishing either so i don't see why not
Yes but they must be on leash and if they poop you must pick it up. They might have bags but maybe bring some on case :)
Yes there are grills. No there is not a cost unless you want to reserve the area. Otherwise as long as it's not already reserved or in use you can use for free.
