Had a reservation at 5:30 pm for a car pick up. Apparently they also close at 5:30pm… arrived at 5:30pm and after a conversation, went in at 5:35pm and was denied the car pick up that was paid in advance. I don’t understand how you will book a 5:30pm pick up, which will take approx. 10 minutes or more, but refuse to let a customer in shortly after the pick-up time. Your pick up time should be before you close, not at the same time.. or you should close later.

The Hertz facility where my wife and I would pick up the car in Denver was closed when we got there at the reserved date and just before the reserved time. When we arrived at the location, a sign showed us to an alternate Hertz location. The booking was for 12PM. When we showed up at exactly 12.01PM at the alternate location, the Hertz guy told us in a very impolite way that he was closed for the day (this facility closes at 12PM) and he couldn't help us anymore. An email or a text message or a phonecall would have saved us that day. He didn't want to say his name to us. My wife and I are especially disappointed in the way we got treated by this Hertz employee. There were no other Hertz locations open in Denver that had cars available. I checked with Hertz customer service on the phone (after being on hold for over 30 minutes), but the lady on the phone said she couldn't help us because Hertz was out of cars that day, also at the airport. We ended up with another company and paid over $600 more to rent and also over $80 in Uber fees. I ended up leaving Denver at 4.30PM instead of the planned 12PM. Nevertheless we got charged the full amount for the weeks rental by Hertz. We eventually got the refund for the Hertz car after complaining, however I'm still very unhappy with the way this was handled by Hertz. I paid over $600 extra to get the same category car and over $80 in Uber fees and my wife and I lost 4,5 hours of our vacation. I rent a lot of cars with different companies for my work. At this point I've lost confidence in Hertz and I will never rent a car with Hertz again and I'll never recommend Hertz again to friends or colleagues. User's recommendation: Don't rent from Hertz.

The representative was very rude, on the phone and in person. My insurance arranged for them to drop off the car Tuesday morning after the holiday. When I called to confirm he informed me due to COVID they aren't allowed drop off service. I confirmed they seen my reservation and it says delivery and he confirmed. So of course I asked why wouldn't you inform the insurance or myself that your company's delivery service wasn't a option? He stated they were in another state, but again I'm in your state and it takes a simple call for me to make other arrangements. I feel like they could careless about one's time. I received the car and still the same attitude. The sad part this gentleman has been here for a while and he still gives you the same energy. I know I have rated them and him once before.

Yep, as the Early Closing Time at this Hertz Location is the ONLY thing I could find to hurt this location's overall rating, besides RARELY showing up in Expedia Fare Searches...
Yes, but once u become a customer, I noticed u r not as important anymore and don't have much time for you, so expect the phone to be hanged up in your face if u have a question after the car is with u. It seems like Aurora in General has this attitude where ever u go
