Beautiful steps and the people who live in the houses are very protective of them and the succulents planted by the steps for so many years. You have to drive up quite a few hills to get there so be cognizant if you drive a standard car because they are steep hills.

What a breathtaking display of storytelling, art and cohesion. This is a must see stop on your San Fransisco adventure. best of all it’s free and very memorial!! The mosaic was finished on the 27th of August 2005.

So excited to have visited the steps from the show “The OA”. Visiting during sunset was beautiful and there are even more steps you can go up later. You can see golden gate and a beautiful ocean-meets-city picturesque view. Worth visiting.

Gorgeous hidden gem. Been meaning to come for years and we happened across it on the way back to the South Bay from the golden gate park. Incredible view. Highly recommend. Some free street parking. No restrooms.

Yes.. the place doesn't "close" as such. It's an open neighborhood. It's tiled colorful designed steps leading from one level to another
Grandview park which has a good view of San Francisco downtown. It's a small park in qhat is actually a beautiful neighbourhood.
N Judah. The 16th & Judah stop is three blocks away from the tiled stairs at 16th & Moraga. You can go up the Hidden Garden tiled stairs at 16th & Kirkham or take 17th Avenue around them.
