I know it's not their fault but dang, prices are friggin increasing every week! I did have to change dog food due to the continued increase in cost (literally every week it went up), but I will say there were a couple good back up contenders to choose from. One was slightly better food and in the range I was already paying, and the other is maybe slightly worse in that it has more "meal", but the overall product quality is better. Just glad I had options! (Plus I got so swanky socks....slightly obsessed with getting a pair almost every time I go).

Customer service is so bad. The women are miserable and speak to not only the staff but the customers in a rude and snappy fasion. It was very insulting and offensive. If it was a one time thing i wouldn't be leaving this review but its every time I go there. Its not acceptable behavior for "professionals".

The store is kinda of small compared to other Southern Agricultural no a wide selection. Customer service is ok they could be a little more pleasant and showb they are happy to helping us. Instead of just telling me it's over there if would be nice to be shown where what I am looking for is at and I don't have to kinda guess.

I have been shopping at Southern Agriculture for over 15 years, most often at the Sheridan location. I have had so many great experiences with friendly staff and there are tons of products for ferrets. HOWEVER, today (3/30/22) I had a very uncomfortable experience at the Harvard location. One of the staff (manager?) was publicly berating a younger employee at the front of the store, for my entire visit if not longer. I could hear it very clearly. I don’t know all the details of the situation, but her treatment of him was extremely unprofessional and cruel. He was obviously distressed and simply trying to explain himself (very politely) over a shoplifting instance that had occurred in the store the other day. Regardless of what had happened earlier, I felt this was very unprofessional behavior on her part. It felt like she was just keeping him next to the checkout as a verbal punching-bag for her anger. Beyond that, she was rude to me as well (never spoke or even looked at me except for asking me to swipe my card, then wadded up the receipt and held it out wordlessly while continuing to berate him). Despite all of this, the younger employee continued to greet and say goodbye to all customers, while the employee at the register completely ignored customers. The third employee at the other register seemed very uncomfortable as well. I almost left without buying, and probably should have. Please consider who you are hiring… everyone makes mistakes, but no one likes a rude employee. **Looking further into the customer reviews for the Harvard location, it seems this person has received several complaints yet continues to act the same and is still employed. My friends, family and anyone who asks me where to get pet supplies, will not be shopping at Southern Ag any more, at any location. Treat your employees better.

I didn't take my cat to Southern Ag when I had him snipped but I dropped him off around 8am and picked him up after recovery at 1:30pm. I'm sure it varies based on quite a few factors but plan for the day.
They have hand sanitizer at the door & u most wear a mask
They have rates as pets
We use Elm Creek Animal Hospital near 11th and Peoria. Dr. Owens is a great vet and everyone there takes really good care of us and our beasties.
They offer a great variety of worming medicine. If untreated, worms can be fatal. The medicine is not very expensive.
