Great trails, easy to follow. Dogs allowed off leash with voice command. Parking fills up quickly. Come super early or late afternoon to get parking in the lot. Bathrooms available at start of trails.

beautiful series of interconnected trails winding through hills and valleys, great for both hiking and biking, ripe with lovely views, serene lookouts, and occasional throngs of goats. bring sunscreen, as several trails involve stretches with direct sun exposure.

We parked in Canyon Meadow staging area. Bathrooms and playground, paved walking. Stream to West Ridge to Orchard...Stream was flat, then Orchard and West Ridge was mostly vertical. Some narrow and rocky. Beautiful views.

Thus far my favorite hiking place in the bay area. Amazing scenery a bunch of trail options, lots of restrooms and benches along the main portion of the trail plenty of places to picnic and barbecue

Most of the trails in the valley are not very level, but if you walked along the east ridge trail, it'll be mostly flat. Try starting at the skyline gate.
Use the main park entrance off of Redwood Road, park in the last parking lot and walk down Stream Trail. It's a little ways into the park (give or take a mile if that) on the paved path.
Best place to find redwood trees in Redwood Park is to go to Skyline gate staging area on Skyline Blvd and go down Stream Trail until you intersect Tres Sendas trail. That area has beautiful redwoods.
There's an entrance off Skyline Blvd. If you Google it, you'll be able to find a map with directions.
Try castle crags state park. In Shasta ca.
It's more of a hiking, biking, horse trail kind of park. I don't think there's many big open grass areas for a water fight/jumper... Would be muddy I'm sure
You may want to contact East Bay Regional Parks District. They maintain and manage the park. I'm not certain that they monitor the Google listing for the park.
Definitely, they even have plastic bag to collect and dispose after them
Not available right now, but there are a few just along the entrance.
Not normally but not unheard of. But with COVID as in all wild animals they are more apparent on some trails
There are parking lots all over! Just look for "staging areas". Definitely double-check to ensure they're not closed due to covid when planning your trip.
We took the Dunn Trail and saw them about a mile in from Skyline Blvd. But I believe they move the goats around.
Not all trails. Stream trail should be fine for wheelchair.
There are no waterfalls in the park. The wettest area is accessed via Redwood gate. A nice stream that still has some water in it now, runs alongside the Bridal trail and further up alongside the Stream trail.
The Ridge trail is open to bikes, as well as a portion of the Stream trail nearest the Redwood Rd entrance. All other trails (essentially the ones in the redwood trees) are closed to bikes.
Stream trail from the Redwood Road park entrance.

Butano State Park in Pescadero https://santacruzmountains.com/guide/hunting-for-banana-slugs/
If you stay on the main path you won't have a problem. There are signs up for the closed areas.
You can ride your bike on the main trails. Signs are posted. Just have to be aware of hikers, and signal early with calling out or a bell. I see plenty of people bike there.
It depends on where you enter the area... there are a dozen staging areas or entrances. These are not gigantic Redwoods like Muir Woods, but beautiful and majestic nonetheless. Come in off of the West Ridge Trail where there are a half dozen staging areas like Skyline Gate or Moongate or Robert's Woods and you'll be in the thick of it. To really get a sense of the Redwoods, try going down into the canyon and walk on a trail like the French trail. It's quite a beautiful area. The drive along Skyline Blvd or Redwood Road provides some nice views... especially near Joaquin Miller Park. Actually, Joaquin Miller Park is quite fabulous.
Golden spike,
No, just some beautiful scenery and a playground.
The Sequoia-Bay View Trail parking is on Skyline Boulevard. It's popular and pretty flat. Head north from Joaquin Miller Boulevard about a half mile. There's parking along both sides of the road. The trail is on the left. There's also a map at the trailhead.
