Unless you’re desperate and have a flat tire or something, you’d better go elsewhere! Customer Service is trash. You have to basically keep calling them every couple hours or your car will be sitting there all day while they forget all about you. Even when they say they’ll call you right back, they don’t. My car also somehow lost a quarter tank of gas while there and picked up quite a few extra miles as well. Someone seems to have taken the opportunity to go running their personal errands in my car. The waiting room is also unclean and unpleasant to be in — complete with dusty corners, ants and flies coming in and out. Not the place you want to be if you have to sit and wait comfortably. Had two flies land on my face while seated there and got so disgusted I ended up just waiting for my Uber outside in the hot sun.

I waited 10 hours and spent $250 to get my car’s battery fixed, only to find that my car STILL wouldn’t start the 2nd time I tried turning it on that same day. I was working (I make food deliveries) and couldn’t finish work. I was stranded from 9:30-11:30 PM waiting for towing services to help me out. I couldn’t believe I spent $250 only to end up right back at square one in the same day! Not to mention, when I called Pep Boys about 5 hours after I dropped off my car to ask for an update, the receptionist gave me so much attitude. (I don’t know why… I’d think after 5 hours with no updates, the customer deserves an update on their car without receiving attitude.) Then after 9 hours with no call, I called again, knowing Pep Boys would close soon. The receptionist told me they’d give me a call when my car was ready for pick up. I never received a call. Just a text message, which I did not think to check for, since the receptionist specifically told me they would CALL me. I called to tell Pep Boys I’d be there a couple minutes after their closing time, since I heard no call and only saw the text too late, and the receptionist still had the audacity to call me 10 minutes later and say, “Are you coming??” We had literally JUST spoken, and she was rushing ME after her company kept my car for 10 hours?? The following day, I took my car to a different shop and got the problem solved at a family-owned shop for only $120 and less than 2 hours of wait time. Not to mention, the man working there was professional, kind, and respectful. My car has been working perfectly the past 3 days and I’ve been able to return to work. I don’t trust Pep Boys. I’m never coming back.

So you need an oil change and have a job that doesn't allow you take off during the daylight hours to get that done....here you go; they are open until 8pm, what a novel idea. All the employee's were good. Christina that checked me in and answered the phone when I called for pricing and wait time estimate prior to arrival Service Tech who changed the oil and advised on the tire rotation cancellation due to wear on the tires. Jason who cashed me out when it was time to pay up *Make sure to get their website coupon and save $$$ Time Served 1 hour which is fair Price for the work $53 *(Going rate for Just Tires next door also) 5qt's Full synthetic with oil filter and offered tire rotation. *******BIG stars for not trying to upsell on service or parts******
