The lady who helped us should be ashamed of herself. Her job as an attorney was to listen to all of the case facts before coming to a “determination”. By lying to us and saying “it is impossible for you to adopt your child and obtain legal status someday” you blatantly LIED to a person protecting a child. Special Immigrant Juvenile Status. Look it up. I thank god I found an attorney, Diane Goodman, who took my case on and informed me of my child’s rights. You refused to hear the facts or our case before coming to an assumption of what the case outcome would be, that is the opposite of what an attorney is supposed to do, specially for child that has suffered as much as mine!

Hello Ms Kim, That's awesome that you took in your granddaughter. I hope and pray that you'll get her back. I think it would be a good idea to call Alliance for Children's Rights to see if they can help you with your situation or at least point you in the right direction to someone who can assist you.
