The whole experience at Karen’s studio was just phenomenal! I’ve been thinking about having a boudoir photoshoot for 3 years, if not more. I was tentative to actually book a session until I came across Karen French’s profile and saw how beautiful her work is and read the amazing reviews. I booked a session with hair and makeup for my birthday! The communication before the shoot was great, which made me feel prepared and so much less nervous. The hair and makeup team was super nice and friendly. I felt so pretty after they were done, and Karen is an absolutely AMAZING photographer to work with! She made me feel super comfortable in my own skin and was giving me directions throughout the shoot as to how to pose and where to look. She was very attentive to all the details. The studio is huge and has multiple backdrops/themes and different sized shoes you can choose from. Everything was spotlessly clean and I appreciated the COVID safety precautions. The production and pictures retouching didn’t take long and I was mind blown when I saw the pictures!! This was such a fun empowering experience. I loved every second of it! Thank you, Karen. ♥️

There’s no need to bring any makeup or hair products, our stylists have a large variety of products. However; if you own something specific you love, bring it with you.
Yes, there are very talented hair and makeup stylists. Check out the “About” section on the website to learn more about them. Having good hair and makeup is critical for a successful boudoir photo shoot. You have the option of using KFP stylists or using your own.
Your photos are kept safe and private. KFP never displays pictures of clients on the website, blog, in print, social media or anywhere without written permission from the client.
For client comfort level and privacy, men are not allowed to the studio during shoots or client consultations.
Parking is 50 feet right outside of our front door, it is also free.
Yes, you may bring a friend with you to your boudoir photo shoot with us in Orange County, they just need to be female and at least 21 years old.
Many of our clients are plus size women. We are experts at knowing what boudoir poses work best for all body types. Our clients are all different sizes, shapes, ages, and ethnic backgrounds. All body types are beautiful and we are experts in showing that.
