I wanted to come on here as a resident here for the 2nd time and give a review of this apartment complex. The staff is so helpful and kind and always answers any questions I have, responds quickly or calls back after I leave a message. The grounds stay pretty clean, the units are very nice (I have the older style and I still enjoy my little home and I know the upgraded units are beautiful as well) I also wanted to give a shout out to the Maintance guys. Nick and Hayden are the 2 I’ve met and they are awesome. Always here to help out if anything needs to be fixed or replaced, they also answer back quickly and are super helpful and always try to accommodate anything that you need done. The location is great, we have a walking trail along our complex and a creek with pretty views and good restaurants near by us. The neighbors here seem to be very friendly as well, I always get smiles and hellos and small talk regularly from everyone around. I have noticed it’s very quiet here and not much noise which is nice as well. If your looking for a new place to call home I highly recommend checking out Acacia. I really enjoy it here and hope to continue having a good experience while I live here!

I've made legal complaints and the retaliations have begun. The leaking has been an issue since before I moved in. Photos show where previous leaking has occurred. Communication here is horrible except to receive messages of "I'm so sorry...". I was told to not report this on the main tenant portal so "corporate doesn't have to deal with it; they don't need to know." They finally tended to this problem a few days ago, unannounced. I made a maintenance request in January. I just started my work-from-home business as a mindfulness teacher and had classes scheduled and paid for. I had to cancel and refund my students because they were repairing for 3 days without prior knowledge or consent to access my space. I can't facilitate my classes or meetings with the amount of noise that was going on. It was driving my pup insane! The photos of the leak are AFTER they supposedly fixed whatever they were trying to fix; I wasn't even doing laundry. They left the machines on my porch, making it inaccessible for me to use and no notification of having to return. The laundry room is also a storage space. And because they left it open for 2 days, some items were stolen. AND they broke my solar lights. The wall is still open and the leak is even worse. So what did you actually repair? I was without heat and hot water for a week in February because maintenance was so backed up. Illegal. The guy who was making rounds at the time tried to mansplain something that didn't even make sense. I had already informed him that it was the water heater, which was old, and that it regulated the heat and hot water. He assured me that wasn't the issue. A week later, I had a new water heater. I can't use my oven because the oven door doesn't close. The ice maker, which I don't use, doesn't work, so I have the lever up to deter from ice making. But despite Nick having come to disconnect the water line to the fridge, there's leaking. This particular apartment unit is constantly humid. I've actually used a moisture thermometer. Its at unusual humid levels. Ventilation here sucks. In the process of starting a class action lawsuit so that folks who are afraid to come forward can find comfort in the protections. And I'm hoping to start a tenant's union. As I mentioned, they've already started retaliation threats. This is not going to be fun. But it seems Grey Star is just another money monger and hires staff to protect them through the guise of friendly customer service.

The outdoor pool is now heated and Sooooo nice. A huge improvement and makes us very happy as residents. Highly recommended for the spacious unit, clean grounds and especially the heated pool now! Well definitely extend now

Having lived here for 1 1/2 years now, I love it! My apartment is spacious with great amenities and very comfortable for me and my dog. It's quieter than I expected going back to apartment living and that's a great quality. The premises are well kept, maintained and lovely to walk around. Having the bike trail on the creek is an added bonus for being in nature. The employees here rock and things get done fast for the size of the place. Would highly recommend living here to anyone interested!
