The best known drinking spot in Petaluma. Very quiet on weekdays, very loud and crowded on weekends. Dance floor can be fun. Attracts a pretty diverse crowd.

Went at around midnight on a Saturday, the line for alcohol was long but didn't take too long to get served. The music wasn't bad, but it is highly disappointing that the dj is instructed by the owner to cut the music off at 1:30, but they supposedly close at 2am. Not sure what the logic on that is.. but that sucks.

The roaring donkey is a great bar with a great vibe, the weekly open is a fun way to see local performers getting better at their craft, audience members have chances to win free drinks with fun drawing games. The monthly standup comedy show is a cant miss event that brings the best comedians in the bay for this free show, so you can laugh and spend your money on drinks.
