Horrible business practices! Be very careful. In their showroom I placed an order after working with the very good sales staff. The craftsmanship of their vintage tiles looks fantastic. In the showroom their stated policy however is "All orders require full pre-payment. No changes or cancellations" (it appears a little different on the website). This is way too aggressive for small direct-to-consumer orders. I decided to go ahead and pay for the whole order while in the showroom even though I was unsure about one part of the order -- thinking to myself that they'd be reasonable if I wanted to make a change within a couple hours (on an order with a 4-6 week lead time). I called back 2 hours later to revise the order -- to remove some items. They refused based on the "no changes" policy only. The supervisor offered free delivery, which wasn't useful to me. He then recited a long list of every imaginable excuse for why they were refusing my request, (they pay credit card fees, larger orders have better margins and reducing the size of an order means they'll lose money, they already placed orders for key minerals needed for black tiles, etc). I offered to PAY EXTRA to cover ALL of those costs as well as to pay the salesperson who was great would get her full commission (if they pay sales staff that way). That extra cost would no doubt be less than the $2k they were holding hostage and seemed reasonable & fair to me. They still refused. Ridiculous!

I can’t speak highly enough of the folks at B&W! From sending tile samples, to helping me through the ordering process, to sending me last minute emergency bullnose tiles when our project didn’t go as planned...Glenda and the rest of the team have completely exceeded my expectations. It was a bit nerve-wracking to conduct business from nearly 2,000 miles away, but our tile arrived beautiful and in perfect condition. Thank you all for the excellent work you do!
