Eric was very helpful today--cordial and efficient. He answered all my questions with alacrity. Give him a raise!

Very informative, happy to have us there to observe the ballot count. I didn't vote by mail because I had heard that signatures were hard to verify as the ones on file could be old, & not match. She assured me they usually find a match when possible, but to be sure I can reregister (fill out the whole form, not just the new stuff) 6 weeks before every election.

You can re-register online at: registertovote.ca.gov, pick up a form at the Post Office or registrars office and mail in or drop off at Voter Registrar Office. Online is fastest.
Check the Registrar of Voters website and click on link "Voter Information Guide/Polling Place Look Up."
Yes, easiest way is to stop by the RoV office at the County center. M-F, 8-5.
All mail in ballots postmarked or dropped off by Tuesday, November 6 will be counted.
Mailed/e-mailed last month. Vote by Mail Ballots should arrive by Friday. Call RoV for pamphlet.
If you dont know your precinct you can go to the election office on Fiscal Dr. until 8pm Tuesday. If that is not convenient go to any precinct and ask for a provisional ballot.
Ed is correct all ballots are in the totals on the day after the election. You should mail your ballot early so if anything is wrong such as you forgot to sign,. The office will have time to ask you for your signature. The policy is clearly printed on the envelope ballot must be received by up to 3 days past the election. If you drop your ballot off at a different County such as Marin it probably will never be counted.
Call the Registrar's office.
Your political party here in the county. They will set you up at high schools and colleges, without party affiliation. Non school locations like grocery stores... Party is OK. You can also call the Registrars office and get a supply of registration forms and do it yourself.
