On May 12, 2017 I moved to a new location within Napa. Alone with stacks and stacks of boxes the next day, I got hungry but there were no grocery stores or restaurants in the vicinity! I was RAVENOUSLY HUNGRY! Because I'd been required to give up my mobility scooter for my new residence, I had no way to get any food! Being hypoglycemic, I knew it could become a dangerous situation if I didn't get any good nutritious food soon! So I called 911 for help! Eventually, Officer Eric Flores came to my apartment and seeing the stacks and stacks of boxes asked if I needed him to help open them. To which I replied, "No. I need to get some food b4 I get really sick from low blood sugar!" At that point he asked where I'd like to go? I said Nations' which I knew was safe food for me. There I could get some of their high protein "One Egger Brkfst"s and possibly a few hamburgers for future meals! In addition, I needed the Cell Phone recharger which I'd left at the "old apartment"! So he suggested, I get a taxi for both errands! Which was a "Wonderful Solution!!!" which in my state; after the stroke and exhaustion from the move, was unable to conjure on my own! ...Ever since the stroke, I've needed the assistance from others to help me with some of the common everyday obstacles! I call them, "My Better Brain Assistants!" ...So now, s'times when I'm in a social situation and needing to "Talk Story", I share this experience, singing the praises of "The VERRRY HANDSOME YOUNG OFFICER, ERIC FLORES!!! ...Never underestimate the VALUE of having a handsome young man helping an alone, decrepit old lady!!!
