Went there end of May no water ok stuff happens there is 6 fifth wheel toyhualer in our group and usually a cabin or two you would think they could have sucked it up and gave the cabin even half off but no would not try to make a customer happy by saying sorry we will give it to you half off to save a big group that goes twice a year customer service is dieing

Although some folks might not understand why the 5-star review over Memorial Day Weekend. Steel Wheel had water issues, with the water on and off several times, but it was back in place for good Saturday afternoon. The general manager of the campground came and talked to all the campers at the time it was happening. He said, “I’d rather come to you than you come looking for me!” He did an excellent job explaining the issues and from the stress on his face, it was obviously his top priority to get it fixed. He brought in emergency bathrooms and told everyone if there was anything he could do to just let him know. He did not mention anything about refunds but I’m sure he would have done it had I asked. In talking to my fellow campers, it was something clearly out of his control and he was trying his darndest to get it fixed. He even came by when he fixed the water issue, just to let us know, and again, if there was anything he could do- all we had to do was ask. Were we not happy about the water, of course not, but things happen and over 20 years of RVing, it’s just one of those things out of a campground’s control and part of RV life.

This is a nice little camp ground, unfortunately there's no water and they're not trying to fix it. I asked for money back and we were going to leave, nope won't give us our money back. Asked for a discount, nope won't give us a discount either. When we checked in they knew they had no water yet the gal still gave us the pass code to the shower house and made no mention there was no water. Sooo if you're on your way for memorial weekend, just know there is no water, not even for the campers and they WILL NOT TELL YOU when you're checking in.
