Great WMA right off of main street in downtown Plattsmouth. Excellent fishing in the spring and great habitat for bird hunting in the fall and winter. Only shotguns with steel shot allowed here!

Nice place to visit for a walk. We went when we thought it would be open (according to info online), but the gate was closed, so we couldn't drive to the confluence. The brochure box is always empty and no one was there to answer questions about hours and access. It was too bad, because we really wanted to walk along the river, but we didn't want to mess with a closed gate, even in the middle of a weekday.

Not much for turkey. You should go to Rikes. Look it up on the game and parks website. Hunt the southern and north edges.
