By far the best customer service and follow-up support and maintenance I have ever seen, Illuminated Concepts came out the same day I called them. Antonio and Michael came out to my home, quickly discovered what was wrong, replaced bulbs and had my lighting system back as good as new - all in 20 minutes! It's great partnering with Illuminated Concepts for home lighting. They excel at customer service and the expertise they have is second to none. Definitely consider them when you are looking to add lighting to your home and yard.

Illuminated Concepts is truly a professional company. From start to finish, the work they did was quality. Their crew worked full days and took special care to consider not only the light, but the long term sustainability of every light they installed. Chuck knows his business and the process was not stressful in the least. I highly recommend that anyone thinking about lights for their home get a quote from Chuck.

Illuminated Concepts was great - easy to do business with, helpful ideas, on time installation, clean and quick. We wanted bistro lights for our backyard and Chuck offered several different solutions and price points. We settled on a design and price we were happy with. Installation was scheduled for half a day or more, but they were finished in 2.5 hours. Very professional work, and friendly. The results are great, and several neighbors wanted quotes for their backyards.

As of now we dont do indoor lighting. If I'm on an exterior lighting design appointment I may be able to give suggestions. I have contemplated many times to do interior lighting but it is more important to stick with our core competency which is outdoor landscape lighting design and installation.
That would vary depending on the size of the project. It can be for 1-30+ days. Typically our crew can professionally install about 10-15 fixtures in a day. That can also vary due to the complexity of the installation. Architectural lighting and Moonlighting from trees take longer to install. Upon receiving a custom design I can better estimate the time it would take to install your project. See link for more info www.oclights.com Thanks Chuck
Yes, we can but I would highly suggest having our input because you will be hard pressed to find anyone with more outdoor lighting design experience than us. See link for more info https://oclights.com/service/lighting-design/
One of the major advantages of LED low voltage lighting is that it does very little disruption to the existing landscape and structures. After we have finished our professional outdoor lighting installation you won't know we have had even been there, except at night when when the landscape lights turn on your home becomes the gem of the neighborhood. Yes, it does, A home or estate that has professionally designed and installed outdoor lighting will show very well, Outdoor lighting will also dramatically increase the curb appeal of a home. Many new high-end homes that are in magazines use photographs taken at night. If the lighting is good nighttime photographs gives the home a look of eloquence and sophistication. Architectural Digest Magazine often features very high-end estates and quite often uses night photography to highlight the features of the home. Outdoor lighting is one of the best ways to accent the architectural features of the home. So yes, permanent professionally designed and installed landscape lighting will make your home shine to prospective buyers. See link for more info https://oclights.com/#ideagallery
I get this question a lot. Good lighting should not draw attention to itself, it should tastefully accent the unique architectural and landscape features of your home. I had clients that may cut back on the original design I propose because of this fear will look like Disneyland. Most of the time they add them back into the design once they see the tasteful way outdoor lighting enhances their home. Once they get a taste of how lighting can transform their home they usually add more. Take a look at https://oclights.com/lighting-designer/

LED outdoor lighting can be as bright or as dim as necessary. Our outdoor lighting designers will know what type of lighting will achieve the desired results. LED landscape lighting is so efficient that just a few watts can illuminate a small tree. The LED lighting is 80% more efficient than halogen lighting. For example, we used to use a 20-watt bulb for path light or an uplight for a small tree & now with LED lighting we can use a 3-watt LED bulb to achieve the same effect. We have even used 1/2 watt LED bulbs for some special suttle effects. We can go up to 30,50 watts and that will produce a tremendous amount of light. However, the usual wattage for large trees is typically 6 or 7 watts. So LED lights are VERY bright. LED fixtures are now used for street lighting, security lighting, pool lighting, facade lighting, the list goes on. LED lights can be used for almost any type of lighting that you can imagine, LED lighting can also come in any color imaginable. In short LEDs rock
Out with the old and in with the new. LED lighting has totally transformed the lighting industry. Halogen lighting was the standard for outdoor landscape lighting until recently. The disadvantages of halogen are high energy consumptions, very hot bulbs, and short lamp life. Since 2012 Illuminated Concepts has only installed LED landscape lighting for our new projects. Benefits of LED lighting, 80% less energy, Very long lamp life, Low heat generated by lamps. See link for more info. https://oclights.com/led-landscape-lighting/

Short answer, ASAP so you can immediately enjoy the benefits of a professionally designed and installed outdoor lighting system. If you are having new landscaping and hardscape being installed, it is important to make proper preparations so all possible areas can have lighting cable brought to those locations. Planning ahead of time and running sleeves and conduits to different areas for future lighting is critical. If only new softscape is being installed then it is usually best to install the lighting cable in 2 phases. First Phase, run cable under sidewalks, driveways and into planters before the planting is installed. The second phase, Install the cable after the landscape/softscape has been installed so the exact cable location for the plants is known. Also if the cable is installed before trees and bushes are planted there would be a chance that some lighting cable could be damaged. Planning and preparation for outdoor are essential. This will leave open all the possibilities.
