It's a hit and.miss with this place sometimes the best ever service u could ask for then other times it is not a pleasant experience. To be fair it's mostly pleasant but when it's not u feel like u entered wrong walgreens one particular employee is very unkind and I feel as though she may have an authorative issue. I was out of meds and my doctors office and this lady as t pharmacy walgreens demanded my doctors office called the prescription In and vice versa needless to say both places stood their ground while me the patient is out of meds and nothing got resolved I'm am without my meds my body so needs to be ok been on them for 19 years now I'm feeling lousy and anxious. I think both places forgot about my issue and didnt want to backdown first . Truth is usually when I see that particular person working on day o come in to.fill my prescription I feel uncomfortable the air around her feels the same.way

They have great customer service, explain new meds to me and greet me and my husband by name every time we go there. We drive fifteen minutes out of our way to go to this Walgreens specifically even though the one closer to me Is basically 30 seconds by car and a five minute walk. The closer pharmacy on Alicia, next to my house, was unable to give me the meds I need and wouldn’t order in advance even though I told them I would be there every month for the same meds. Renee King at the El Toro Walgreens is especially kind and helpful. But really everyone there is wonderful. I would even drive farther than I do now because of their stellar customer service and personal kindness.

My doctor's office called in a single prescription at 1:30 this afternoon. I called at 8:25 this evening to find out if it's ready for pickup. I got an automated menu system that told me that it was not and was being processed. I hit the button to talk to a human being, so I can find out whether or not they had my insurance information and what the co-pay would be. Also when it would be ready for pickup. I was connected to music on hold, with a recording that said all of the agents were busy helping other people and there were more than three ahead of me, but if I stayed on the line they would eventually get to me. I stayed on the line, & about 25 minutes later, the "more than three" became "one customer" ahead of me. There it remained for another 15 minutes until the "One customer" part went away, and I was left with just "wait and they would be with me." After about 10 minutes The Voice portion of that recording stopped cycling and I was left with music on hold alone, until 9:35 (70 minutes into the call) when a voice came on the line and said "Pharmacy." She explained to me that they didn't have any insurance information for me and I would have to pay full price for the medication. I told her I had my insurance card in hand and could read her any information she needed. She said that she had to physically scan it into her system, although there is no barcode at all on the card. Again, I offered to read the numbers, and she said she couldn't help me. She suggested I call my insurance company, (which I had over an hour earlier, and they were closed and had a 72-hour response time to questions about drug coverage). After waiting about an hour and 15 minutes, I came away with absolutely nothing accept the information that they are now closed and I would have to wait until tomorrow, anyway. 😨😠 Stay away from Walgreens if you are sick and need your medication today.😷
