Welcome to Eight 80, where there are soiled mattresses everywhere, so many bugs that’s it’s like the movie Bug’s Life, and trash that includes used condoms/wrappers, needles, pipes, all over the place. Do not move here if you are concerned about safety because the management company UDR couldn’t care less about residents. I am counting down the days until the move out.

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT! Literally nothing here works, the laundry Mats are always broken, the water never works because they are always having a maintenance emergency, the people who perform the maintenance are not even capable in doing so. I have had my refrigerator attached to an extension cord since I moved in, you reach out to the maintenance office and they don’t even return your calls. I had three guys come once and tell me they will have to return, and never do. I gave up. Also if you currently live here, DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR “special rate” email you will get once your lease is almost up, it will have a deal that any person in their right mind would take, for example, they offered this place to use for $1500 for a two bedroom when we currently pay $2600. The deal will say “act today” so you only have that day to sign. Once you are about 1 week away from the lease being up they will say it was a mistake and make you sign back up with a $2600 again. I stayed for a year and planned on leaving due to so much stuff they fail to maintain, and only signed because of that special deal. Well by then you can find a place in a week and I can’t be homeless so I stay another year. This place is hell and disregards anyone here, they give no ***** about you, this place is infested with fleas and cockroaches. They do nothing about that ether. The most disgusting apartment I’ve ever lived in, I never post reviews about anything, but this place made me feel some type of way.

There are plenty of apartments for rent in this area, so shop around. Moved in November 8th 2021 and by November 11th was notified that our balcony needs work and we are not to use it. More than 2 months later and still no balcony. No reduction in rent at all. The laundry facilities are filthy and half broken. The carport flooded, the hidden convenience fees, noise, mismanagement,etc. The pictures are my view of scaffolding and tarp's that flap loudly. Looking at this for 2 and a half months now. Paying for storage for the patio furniture now too.

I love this place! I am so glad I decided to move here despite the bad reviews. The leasing agent Fatimah is so very helpful and kind. She really went above and beyond to help me get into the perfect apartment. Some review say that the place is messy, this is because some tenants are messy. We live in Southern California you always have to clean t and spray to keep roaches and bed bugs away. Tenants with animals should pick up after them. If everyone cared to pickup after themselves, there would be no problems. I see staff outside cleaning and fixing up, and where my building is located, we don't have bugs, rats or any mess. The location is perfect if you like to walk to shops, restaurants and park. The elementary, middle and high school is within walking distance and they are rank very high in academics. I am very pleased to be here. They are also renovating some of the older buildings and common areas, so soon the place will be even better.
