After using this Petco for years to have our dogs groomed, we showed up today for another routine grooming appointment only to be told that we can no longer use their grooming service due to them changing their policy for dogs with seizure medical conditions. Our dog has had this condition for many years and has even been groomed here since they 'changed' their policy - without any notice mind you. 10/10 unprofessional, would not recommend.

Cattails: If you’re military and/or of color it’s a no. Nancy, or whatever the old woman’s name is who’s in charge there is a liar. Wether she turns you away or she’ll sit with you and lie. I thought the whole point of ADOPTION, is to give the sweet Angel a loving home and don’t have to sit in a 2 x 3 x 2 box for weeks. If she tells you they’re going to call, they won’t. But again, if you’re military and/or of color go somewhere else. Don’t get your hopes up. Petco: very kind and helpful staff. The place is clean and their animals are never dirty. Except maybe the ferrets but that’s because they run over it. But very cool staff!

BEWARE ADOPTING A CAT I went to adopt a cat was greeted by the woman who manages the cat adoption, who appeared to be a really nice woman. I’m active duty military with my husband deployed and I stayed behind because I was pregnant. I wanted a cat to keep me company and to be part of the family. When I applied I was told that I would be contacted and they even showed me the “perfect cat” they believed was kid friendly. I was totally duped and blindsided - they never contacted me, I called multiple times, and finally when they had an answer for me, the cat they suggested was already adopted. Not only did they lie, the woman began to tell me I shouldn’t have cats in the house and it wasn’t fitting for a pregnant woman to handle cats. (This is me reiterating what she said nicely) I understand there are risks, but I’ve had animals FARM ANIMALS as well my whole life, so I understand how to take care of animals. It was so rude and heart breaking because they personally picked this cat out for me knowing it was already adopted. I couldn’t believe how deceitful this woman was. Just be cautious because clearly they don’t want their animals adopted and that’s just really sad to me. Anyways, I adopted 2 beautiful and healthy cats from the the fort Riley shelter and I’m happy I have my furry companions for life with my new baby, which they love.

Masks are required (: but besides that, all else seems pretty much back to normal operations - no temp checks at door or gloves needed. They have hand sanitizer if you want to use it.
Hi, I'm one of the coordinators for PPAWS. Yes, some of our dogs will be there tomorrow but we do not do on the spot adoptions. If you have a dog you are interested in, please fill out an application.
All Aquatic Life are guaranteed to stayalive for 30 days from the day they arrive at your home or we will gladly refund your money. Freshwater fish purchased in-store can be returned with a receipt within 30 days for a full refund to original form of tender.
Shots done at home are not accepted by animal control or any other facility due to possible miss handling and administering. It's just best to take them to the vet for it.
