NOT like the library I remember as a child. People talking loudly, librarian I first spoke with was Not very helpful, I ended up leaving anyway. So I guess the whole atmosphere has simply changed with the times. Sad, but this is what it's become.

As a former volunteer, and regular at the Upland Public Library. This library offers quality service, people who care about people, and providing information to those who have inquiries. The library in the last few years has undergone a wondrous transformation, and it is much more than checking out books. It is also about connecting with community, providing services, a quiet place to read, and opportunities to get involved. Due to the restrictions of Covid-19, and my own personal matters, I have been distant, but I love this library, and I have high regard for those who work and serve the community. I am grateful for the online connectivity during the last two years, and staying up to date with reading and story times. I am also grateful for the availability of the Friends of the UPL, and for the many books that are available to read. Thank you Upland Public Library for your hard work.

They've made some considerable upgrades during the pandemic, have made borrowing and putting a book on hold easier, and don't demand late fees before you can check out additional books anymore. While the selection in the actual library is a little scarce given the building size, you can make holds online and in-library from a sizeable amount of libraries across multiple SoCal cities. Hopefully they get rid of late fees altogether like Rancho Cucamonga and LA County did soon.

Such a great library and nice little courtyard outside with lemon trees. We've been having a horrible time finding a place to get some remote work done and this was such an ideal spot to get work done. They were super covid conscious as well and we felt safe.

We don't have cd ROMs on our public computer. You can try maybe a Kinkos or UPS type of office Depot or even maybe Staples.
