3 stars because the drinks were good. The price didn’t match flavor. The fish in the fish taco was kind of stringy like from frozen as well as the rice being hard. The enchilada plate was very dry. We also tried the Connecticut nachos, those were really good we did chicken instead of beef and enjoyed them the most. The chicken tortilla soup was really good, the seasoned tortilla strips were a perfect addition. Service was great.

First off I want to say service was good. Our waiter was so attentive and sweet- it was his first day and he did great. The drinks were a little slow to start but we did come at a busy time and the waiter updated us to let us know ahead of time that the bar was behind which I always find so helpful! The margaritas weren’t that great- felt like it was just tequila and juice. My boyfriend got the Cajun chicken which was only ok- the dish was overall bland and the chicken was dry. I got the grilled fish tacos and those were fantastic- loved the flavors of the mahi mahi with the slaw, and the rice and beans that came with that dish were good. I ordered a side of spicy fries which were subpar. Our friends got the sizzling steak fajitas which they said were super good. Overall, i would come back but this is would not be my go to Mexican place.

A last minute decision to try this place. We loved it! Seated right away, drinks, salsa & chips! The salsa was amazing. Our waitress was attentive & pleasant. The manager stopped by to ask if everything was good! We will definitely visit again.

This place was pretty average for a Mexican restaurant. We had the fajitas which were just ok. My margarita was decent. I did enjoy the outdoor area around the back. I would probably rate higher if the prices reflected the quality of food. The house margarita was priced pretty fair though. It's worth a stop, but the sign saying voted best Mexican food is misleading to day the least.
