Always one of my favorite stops when I travel up to Mystic! The food is always so fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is casual and the service is friendly. And you can’t beat the view! Of course, the lobster is the main attraction, but their steamers are also amazing. It might be a tad difficult to find as it’s tucked away on a side residential road, and I’ve heard some locals refer to it as a bit “touristy”, but it’s worth the trip and the weekend crowds.

This place is definitely a hidden gem for sure. The lobster there is very good. They do take debit & credit cards as well as cash. Definitely worth the ride.

Atmosphere, location, is fantastic....great to sit by the ocean, enjoying a meal while watching the yachts stroll by. The food? So so in my opinion. The New England clam chowder was watered down...flavor just ok. I can't comment on the lobster...but my Pastrami sandwich again was just ok. Not bad, mind you, but not great either....

Lines were long but that's too be expected during the tourist season around lunch on a weekend. I had oysters, the hot lobster roll, the cold lobster salad roll, the lobster bisque, and the octopus salad. The oysters were from their local farm and were plump and sweet - and their cocktail sauce is perfect. The hot lobster roll is also quite good. The cold lobster salad was watery and seemed to be lacking salt. The lobster bisque was creamy but a little weak on flavor. The octopus salad tasted ok but was difficult to eat in the tiny bowl it was served in - you couldn't get any greens without dumping the octopus out of the bowl. I'd happily do the oysters and hot lobster roll again. And if the 1/4 lb standard isn't enough, you can get a 2x or 4x size.
