Wife brought car in for regular maintenance as well as noisy power driver seat. Charged 1 hour for "diagnosis". Told that entire seat base needed replacing at cost of 570.00 plus labor. Mazda Technical Service bulletin 09-005/18 directly addresses issue with part that costs 20.00 and is less than 1 hour install. Dealer tried to take advantage of female owner and overcharge. We will not be going back either for new cars or service again. Will be reporting to CTDMV Dealer Department

UPDATE: Since signing on the car I've been waiting 3 weeks for the dealer to install optional parts on the vehicle. 3 full business days before I was scheduled to take the car I was told they were working on the car and installing the parts (that of which they said would only take a few hours to put on), only to find out when I picked it up that nothing was done, the car wasn't even cleaned. Customer service shouldn't stop after the papers are signed, but maybe it does here... Great first impression. Alberto and Bruno were great to work with. Drove an hour to the dealership because they were the only dealer in CT that had the car I was looking for, and they were able to get me into it fast and with no hassles. Glad I made the trip down to them

Whaling City Mazda is a first rate dealership. I've bought several cars there, and am always impressed with the personnel. They are always friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with. A few times their service department have gone out of their way to be especially helpful.
