A hospital is where you expect a staff to operate with a sense of urgency and at least an ounce of empathy. This hospital operates with neither. The staff is rude, from the registration to the triage nurse on up the chain. My concerns were immediately dismissed despite the staff having zero forehand knowledge of why I was there, then I was barked at for asking questions about my own test results. Then instead of being given the information I was requesting, those questions too were dismissed as, you're fine, you're fine. We'll, I wasn't fine. Turns out I was really quite sick and needed medical intervention. If you have a serious emergency or medical concern, DO NOT come to this hospital.

My 8 year old had a gash large enough to have stitches from a roller skating event, so we went to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center and they admitted us immediately, was seen by the staff and I can't thank the professionalism and compassion of the staff for taking such good care of my baby girl. They kept keeping her calm, reassuring her, my wife and I. We were on each side of the bed holding her hands while the staff worked on her. So very grateful for the excellent care we received! THANK YOU!!!!!

Unprofessional staff. The staff are not educated enough to even understand and follow their own written policies. Their policy says " Two designated person for support. But it also indicates that an alternate person may designated. The only condition is that they cannot be present at the same time. I was doing exactly the same, i went to hospital to substitute with my father that was there for 8 hours straight and they ( sixth floor nurse staff) would no not allow it. When you ask for the head nurse, to explain the policy. She (Randy) comes up with four security and even she even does not understand the policy. Therefore i had to leave. It is really sad. I used to donate to them but never again.

Worst Emergency Room ever they should change the banner from "Heros work here" to "Lazy staff work here." We waited for 6 hours to be seen. My father was sent to the ER by his physician because his EKG looked irregular and was concerned. They did a EKG test, took blood and a chest x-ray but made us wait 6 hours in the waiting room to say everything looks normal. The staff kept saying he will see doctor soon there are no beds or rooms available and that they work on severity. Talking calm with these employees doesn't work I kept my calm for 6 hours you need to yell and put them in their place or rip them a new one to be taken care of asap.

Many celebrities have passed at this prestigious hospital. It's surrounded in every direction within a couple of miles by a different Movie or Television Studio. Of course many nice neighborhoods that they also live in near by, make this hospital their default hospital as well. Another younger celebrity that passed here in recent times that comes to mind is Corey Haim.
Sorry i don't have grief counselor. I am sorry for your loss. I myself was a patient at the hospital.
To keep cost down and if its not an emergency. I encourage you to go to an urgent care. God bless

Just look up at the sky into the Clouds, heaven is up above the sky
Not sure, you can ask the operator.
It will save time and money if you first locate an obstetrician/gynecologist your health insurance will cover. I would ask for recommendations as a starting point. Once you find a doctor you’re comfortable check to find out with, ask at the Ob/Gyn if you’ll need a referral from the doctor who diagnosed you. I’m the patient who needs as much information as possible in order to understand what my options would be. I research on my own, then have an appointment to discuss my thoughts and understanding of the situation. In my experience, the more I know, the less problems I have. I’m thinking the reason you went to the hospital had something to do with the cyst, so, bottom line find a doctor who’ll help you make an informed decision. If I were in your shoes, which I have been, I’d get on the ball now. Good luck!
I think immediate family can stay overnight
Yes. Call the blood bank in the morning to see if you need an appointment.
Yes, if you are family and during visiting hours. It's best to talk directly to the patients nurse before heading up, just to make dire there are no medical limitations for that patient.

Yes, you can purchase the 'Fast Track' wrist band for an additional fee of $47,000 and go to the front of the line as often as you want. Pass is valid for one emergency room visit per wristband and is non transferrable. SMH

I wasn't able to visit a family member who was hospitalized. Because of Covid, I don't believe any hospital is allowing visitors
Check wikipedia.com
I would Google that information online
I'm sure they do, always ask your doctor in your plans when deciding to have a natural child birth and other questions you want answers. On the route you choose to go they are there to support you and advice you on the best options that fits your needs.
Correction Nicole, it was not his time to go he was still young. Had a life ahead of him still
