I recently locked my keys in my car and I contacted LA Best Locksmith to help me. They sent Ron and he unlocked my car in less than 5 minutes. Awesome service.

We had them come to our office to change out the lock, and they ended up making the door knob so loose we were afraid someone could break it off by opening the door. And then the door wouldn’t unlock at all. So we called them back to fix their mistake and they first quoted us $800… after telling them we never had this issue before their technician came out last time they lowered it to $700. We found another company who came out and repeatedly said the job done before was incorrect, and he pulled out tape from the lock. They used tape!! He said it was a faulty job, fixed it in 30 minutes for $120. Here’s pictures of the tape holding the parts inside

What is the difference between rekeying and lock changing?

Leonard Langberg | Dec 27, 2021

Rekeying doesn't involve new locks, but rather changing the configuration inside the current ones so that different keys will be needed in order to open them once rekeyed. This may or may not be cost effective versus actually changing the locks, but my understanding is that rekeying tends to be less expensive.

Have a safe that will not open. There is no key and have to use a code. Please advise if there is a service charge to come and see if it could be open.
