The Barbados rum raisin was amazing! We ordered and was going outside but found a door that had a bench on the side and had a nice view at the bridge and bay. Was great time!

Every time I return home to Mystic for an event, parade, or art festival... stopping in for Ice Cream next to the Drawbridge is a tradition that has been happening for many years!! Some version of an ice cream shop has operated here for over a hundred years. While many things have changed good ice cream has remained.

Great location right next to the draw bridge. The ambiance was average, but the service was super great. I wasn’t overwhelmed about my Barbados Rum and Raisin. Would have lived up to its name with at least a taste of rum. However, my party of five loved their flavor and texture of their choice.

One of the best ice cream joints in the New England area, hands down. This was my second visit and the seasonal special peach cobbler and menu staple chocolate truffle did not disappoint, whereas my first combo of the banana chip and white pistachio were great as well. Quality ice cream, not too sweet or heavy yet has a strong and unique flavor. Good portion size for the price, fast service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Was given helpful insight on a few flavors and allowed a sample when asked, which I appreciated their willingness, opinion, and patience. Not to mention, to top it all off, the shop's location on the bridge offers picturesque sunsets to pair with one's sweat treat. Definitely recommend.
