This is such a neat spot hiding next to the Opera House. Pet friendly on the porch. A great super local beer selection from Berwick Brewing and others. The food was much better than the first time I was there, but it still isn't quite up to its potential. On paper, it sounds better than it tastes. But maybe it is just me. I still love this place and will stop in again and try something different. The workers are beyond nice. Sitting outside is very pleasant.

We had a lovely day in Jim Thorpe and thought we would finish our night grabbing a bite to eat at this restaurant. Big mistake. We arrived about 5pm & were greeted by a wonderful young man who was very welcoming. We were told it would be a bit of a wait & it was busy so we didn’t mind…..but at 6:30 we were still standing & waiting. Finally we were seated but waited an additional 20 minutes for someone to come over & get us water. Alicia was our server & she was very sweet & explained the kitchen is small so it takes longer…..well we finally ate at 8pm! 3 HOURS LATER. We ordered burgers & fries (which had an up charge of $2) The fries were hard as rocks & cold. Alicia was nice enough to get new ones but they were still hard. The upsetting part was after such a bad experience there was no discount or compensation for such an awful experience. We will never go here again. I highly recommend getting more servers, being honest about wait times & expanding the kitchen. No one should wait this long.

Great food, drink selection, staff, ambiance and prices! The soups were amazing and the steak salad was very good. Our daughter loved the Mac n cheese.

Easily my favorite hang out spot while visiting Jim Thorpe. The Dark and Stormy is now my favorite drink and the Chili was delicious. I also had Wings with a variety of delicious sauces.The bartender was so knowledgeable and was happy to share. Awesome and memorable times here. Will return very soon.
