We have been to Markko over the last 20 years multiple times and I was thrilled to go back. It has such a family, natural vibe - I love that they are offering food trucks and live music. If you haven't been in their woods, you should. Its shaded and magical. For those lucky enough to meet Arnie, he is buried with his mother on the estate and you can pay your respects with a small walk into the woods. His son and daughter-in-law are running the business now and are delightful. I wish we lived closer and could make it a monthly trip! Look for their fish fry and wine auctions - I cant say enough about how wonderful it is.

Such a neat experience for simply finding this place on Google Maps when searching for wineries on my way to Conneaut. Arnie and his dogs were extremely welcoming and Arnie is a true master at his craft hands down. Enjoyed our conversation and the wine!! Bought three bottles and will be up again soon! Quaint and unique location as well!

Arnie is a great host and a great winemaker. One of the best around! Nobody even comes close to him. Of you get a chance, take the time and go here. It's worth it. The wines blow away any other places around the area. Top notch.

Stopping at this simple yet charming winery was a real treat for our cross-country road trip. The wine is complex and delicious; well-crafted by Arnie, the talented winemaker. A kind old spirit. Arnie is the magic behind the strikingly German-styled labels on every bottle. With Chardonnays, Rieslings, and Cabs in abundance, there is certain to be a suitable wine for every favor of drinker. Why not try them all? Definitely going to be ordering wine from them for years to come.
