So disappointed in Bolero! My husband made reservations for Mother's Day last week. When we showed up for our reservation the doors were locked. We went to the desk at the Avalon and we're told that brunch was canceled. We were never notified. And where are we supposed to go for brunch on Mother's Day when every other place is full? We ended up going to El Amigo and had a wonderful lunch. Thank you El Amigo for the delicious food and wonderful service.

We had the best time at Bolero last night! The food was fresh and delicious! Our server was fantastic and the sangria was spectacular 🍷 Definitely will return again! And the chef was more than gracious!

Walked in with my colleague in search for a place to hold our fundraising and social events. There would’ve been at most 200 for some events. We went in to take a closer look around and discuss business. My colleague is 25 and our events would be attended by young adults of all ages. We were told by the bartender that because of my age and my colleagues age, that she could not drink while I had a nonalcoholic beverage. We are both adults but no big deal, we attempted to walk around and look at the space. However, the bartender must have felt we were disagreeing with what she told us and proceeded to tell us to leave. So we did, and we will be taking our business elsewhere.

My husband and I stopped in without a reservation last Friday evening after a tough work week. Lucky for us, this beautifully decorated restaurant is still a little known delight and we were seated and served that evening. The menu features Spanish dishes such as Paella with some standard fare done in the Spanish style (Stuffed Pepper). We shared the Vegetable Paella. The seasoning was subtle and the combination of vegetables delicious. We also shared a dessert, Flan with salted carmel drizzle. Wow! Every bite left you wanting for more. You can't beat the dining atmosphere at Baleros! -- romantic, calming, charming but certainly not boring! The staff was attentive. We even got to meet the Executive Chef (who took great pride in the menu and in the staff.) What an enjoyable evening we shared. We're looking forward to another visit soon to explore other menu items and another delicious dessert.

I spoke with Chef Jodi, she said she will put you down for the reservation however Jess is not serving in Bolero tomorrow.
Business casual is common. Not beachhead. Locals dress for evening.
No problem. The chef is my wife. I will let her know.
